9. Trevor’s Torture Time - Grand Theft Auto 5

Continuing on strong with literal torture, this was a Grand Theft Auto scene that absolutely turned stomachs. Especially if you’re largely into GTA for the car-jacking and crime shenanigans and not so much getting into the nitty-gritty of torturing a dude.

Sure, you kill off hordes of people in GTA 5, but it’s not quite the same as holding the right trigger and rotating your joystick to yank a guy’s teeth out.

It’s pretty damn sickening, but pretty on brand for Trevor, who is tasked with getting information out of a suspected terrorist associate by any means necessary. If the game making you control this section was already not your favourite, you’re gonna love the fact that you’ll need to choose your methods of torture as well, and try not to kill the guy. Aside from amateur dentistry you can shock him with a car battery, waterboard him, or hit him in the knee, arm or junk with a wrench. Whichever way you look at it, it’s all pretty unsettling. If you push him too far you’ll need to give him an adrenaline shot so you can go back to getting your torture on.
