10 Cancelled Video Games That Looked Awesome

8. Thrill Kill

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_VbjA4BjGk Thrill Kill is one of the few games on this list that's actually pretty easy to get a hold of, because disgruntled employees leaked near-complete versions of it online not long after the game was shelved, with EA claiming that the game was "senselessly violent". EA didn't even have the good decency to allow other publishers to purchase the game, meaning that the title, merely a few weeks away from shipping, was left to rot if not for the savvy employees who at least allowed us to take a look at their good work. And what a game it was. Anyone with an Internet connection and access to Bleem! could give Thrill Kill a whirl, and though rough around the edges, it was a fiendishly entertaining little beat 'em up, in which you largely run around dressed in BDSM outfits, beating the living Bajesus out of pretty much anything that will move. While it's easy to see why EA objected to the product, given its extreme violence, lewd tone, and potential to be labelled as misogynistic, maybe they shouldn't have decided to publish the bloody game in the first place, and then maybe we might have actually had a chance at playing it legally! As it stands, there's absolutely nothing else out there like it.
