10 Celebrities You Didn't Realise Are Massive Gamers
4. Henry Cavill
Even before he was cast as Geralt in the upcoming Witcher Netflix TV show, Henry Cavill has always been a self-professed gamer. In the past he's talked up the gaming PC that he has at home, as well as commenting on Fallout 76 in an otherwise unrelated interview while promoting the easily mixed up Mission Impossible: Fallout, saying that he thought the setting for Bethesda's multiplayer spin-off was "wrong".
Of course, it's discussions born out The Witcher series that've been the focal point of his gaming opinions, even before he was officially signed on to star in the adaptation. Apparently, he's played through the third game multiple times already, going down different quest routes and fully exploring the world, and has admitted that it's going to be strange to inhabit a character he's been playing for so long.
Also, to prove that just about everyone has been addicted to World of Warcraft at some point, Cavill famously said that he took the call from Zak Snyder, who offered him the part of Superman (and subsequently transformed his career), while he was in the middle of playing Blizzard's MMO at home.
Admittedly, committing to the DCEU probably came with the realisation he'd have to cancel that WoW subscription.
