10 Classic Video Game Glitches That Allowed Us All To Cheat
7. Minecraft - Item Duplication
You may be surprised to see this on the list however, because of its simple yet effective nature it deserves a mention. There are a few ways of doing this glitch depending on which version of the game the player is running.
At first this glitch may seem inefficient as the player can probably mine to get items faster than repeating the process, however once you eventually have a stack of the item you can duplicate the whole stack. This means that the glitch is now more efficient than mining for items and ruins all gameplay experience, but what is the point of Minecraft if you dont have to mine?
This method is really easy but some players may find it a bit tedious. All you have to do is place the intended item at the top-left/right corner of your inventory. Click it and throw it away (Alternately, you can equip it and press 'Q' to drop it). Press 'Esc' and click on "Save and Quit to Title". Re-load your world, pick up the dropped items and immediately press 'Esc'.
Do not save and quit, instead, wait for the text "Saving Level" to disappear and then completely close Minecraft by clicking the red cross in the top right corner of the window (Alternatively you can just press Alt + F4). Open Minecraft and load your world. Check your inventory and congratulations! You have doubled your items.
