10 Classic Video Games Hidden In Other Games As Easter Eggs

1. NES Classics In Animal Crossing

Before players were charged to play old games through Nintendo€™s eShop, Animal Crossing on the GameCube displayed an uncharacteristically generous side to video game developers by allowing players to access some NES classics completely for free. How To Find Them Through completing in-game tasks or attending Nintendo events, you could get your hands on full-versions of up to 15 NES games including Balloon Fight, Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Wario€™s Woods and Punch Out!! It€™s pretty clear from the lack of retro classics in subsequent Animal Crossing releases that Nintendo now believes its back catalogue is too much of a money-spinner to give away free-of-charge. However, for any fans of retro gaming, Animal Crossing deserves top spot as it€™s not often you get a single old-school game included in new titles, let alone 15 of them.
