10 Confusing Video Game Levels Everyone Got Lost In

6. Deep Jungle - Kingdom Hearts

A lot of folks first played the original Kingdom Hearts when they were young, myself included. And much like me, a lot of you probably stopped at Deep Jungle. It's okay to admit it - you're among friends here.

This place is the bane of an entire generation of JRPG fans. The single worst-designed level in the original game, and the reason why Kingdom Hearts 2-onwards would adopt the more flat level structure the series is now famous for.

There are three levels to this world, the ground area, the treetops where you first enter the world, and the part that truly vexes everyone, the vine section. There's nothing but identical trees and vines, with each exit taking you to a completely different part of the map. It also doesn't help that the means of traversing upwards to the treetops, vines that grow up along the trees, just fade into the background of the level.

Getting around this level is nothing short of guesswork.
