10 Convoluted Video Game Levels Everyone Got Lost In

8. Deep Jungle - Kingdom Hearts

As much as many complain about Kingdom Hearts' story and lore being confusing, the original game boasted decidedly trickier level design than its sequels, as was especially, painfully clear in the Tarzan-themed world Deep Jungle.

The world brings the game grinding to a halt with its emphasis on navigating a frustratingly samey-looking jungle, rife with excessive backtracking as it is, while also having to put up with the game's sluggish camera and controls.

This isn't to ignore the infamously clunky garbage that is the world's vine-swinging traversal mechanics. Oof.

As much potential as a Tarzan world had, this was such a dull area to navigate that it made the game genuinely feel like busy-work for a while.

It's the sort of energy-sucking level that leaves you groggy, irritable, and wishing you were re-arranging your sock drawer instead.

Deep Jungle isn't the game's only convoluted world, but it is absolutely the most aggravating to progress through.
