10 Coolest Video Game Features (That Are Utterly Pointless)

3. Pistol Tricks (Red Dead Redemption 2)

A lot can be said for Rockstar's amazing Red Dead Redemption 2 along the lines of this topic - between the horse junk, sweat, reflective eyes, the fact that Arthur's skin becomes more pallid and his eyes more bloodshot as he gets sicker and sicker? Whole lists have been dedicated to that game's most unnecessary features.

But you know what else the game has, that's just kind of...fun, that you likely may have missed?

Arthur can twirl his sidearm fancily before he holsters it. Just double-tap the holster button (Tab on PC by default) when holding just a single handgun, and Arthur won't just slip it back to his hip.

Now, in the online mode there's all kinds of different gun twirling you can do, but there's menus and selections and a whole thing about it. But in the single-player mode, there's just a little secret gun spin you can do. Nothing in the game ever tells you about this, it's just something you've got find by chance - or from an article like this. You're welcome.
