As the original BioShock draws to a close, you are tasked with finding all the components of a Big Daddy suit and slipping into the shoes of the monsters that have terrified you. It's almost cathartic, but it still doesn't quite ring as true as it would in the 2K Marin-developed sequel, BioShock 2. It's an insane role-reversal, as you are now on the opposite side of all your conflicts in the first BioShock. While you used to tip-toe around a Big Daddy to not feel his wrath, even watching with an insidious grin as they took out Splicers for you, now the tables were completely turned. The change in pace made Bioshock 2 such a wonderfully different experience, and the power you felt through the game was a thrilling rush of excitement. Playing the Big Daddy in BioShock 2 was a huge gamble, and guaranteed nuts, but it works so well.
