10 Cryptic Messages Found In Video Games We'll Never Understand

1. Morse Code - What The Golf?

In the glorious sports parody What the Golf?, players will come across a series of computer terminals throughout the game which, if hit, will display strange coded messages.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that these messages are written in Morse code, and players eventually pieced together all the messages from the various terminals to discover that they spelled, "Secret blue horses at What the Golf .basement."

A nonsense "solution" that tells us absolutely nothing, then. Great.

It was later discovered that if players convert the message into an e-mail address, secretbluehorse@whatthegolf.com, and contact it, they'll receive a reply stating that they've found the secret blue horses, but without any further prompt of what to do next.

It's possible this is either another abandoned ARG or just a member of the dev team toying with observant players. Either way, there hasn't been anything you could call closure yet.
