With Sony and Insomniac's first foray onto the big screen together, we're getting a full remake/reboot of the original game to go alongside. The game's engine has been completely overhauled, as you can see with the sumptuously gorgeous graphics that literally just makes it look like you're playing what we've seen of the movie itself. Speaking of which, the R&C silver screen debut could be the reason for the game's delay, as with that getting pushed back to around Spring 2016, it's entirely possible Sony want Insomniac to hold off and do the whole 'game and movie' double-whammy PR spin. Whatever the case, Ratchet's remixed latest looks spectacular, with an overall coat of polish that - providing it doesn't somehow fall apart once we get hands-on - is putting all other remakes and 'remasters' to shame.
