8. Frogger: Arcade/Consoles (1981) Hit By Automobile
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je3bCJ_GBRI Frogger developed by Konami in 1981 isn't what you would call a disgusting videogame. You play as a series of frogs who only want to hop their way home. The issue is, there is a bloody massive motorway between you and your froggy bed. Adding to that obstacle, there is a roaring river full of crocodiles, snakes and otters whose only wish much like the French is to dine on springy frogs legs. Now getting eaten is bad it's all part of the circle of life but that worst way to die is the motorway. Imagine the agony of having a ten ton truck drive over you, squishing you like a boiled egg. I think the worst part of the whole ordeal is the fact that the traffic doesn't stop. When you're hit, you can be squeezed into the tarmac even further, which is something no child really needs to see, ever. On the flipside, it's a great advert for road safety and the danger of traversing logs.
