10 Disturbing Video Game Locations With A Dark Secret
1. Boston Commons Hide A Murder Sewer - Fallout 4
The world of Fallout is a messed-up place filled with cannibals, raiders, and mutants.
However, if living in a dark, grimy, post-apocalyptic world was not enough, Fallout 4 also features a secret location in Boston Commons that will remind you the world wasn't really all that better before the bombs fell, either.
When exploring the Fens street area, you may come across a manhole cover that, despite being marked on the map, isn't connected to any quest.
When you enter the sewer underneath, you will be immediately greeted by a creepy voice from the past, which will introduce itself as your arch nemesis and refer to you as "detective."
As you venture deeper into this bizarre hideout, you learn that the sewer was a trap the killer known as the "Fens Phantom" created to have a final standoff with the detective on his tail. The chamber inside is filled with grotesque displays made out of human bodies, and the Phantom gives detailed descriptions of what happened to each of his victims.
If that wasn't disturbing enough, according to the Phantom's final holotape, he might've gotten the detective too, meaning he was free to kill even more people before the nuclear holocaust!
Honestly? It's good the bombs fell!
