10 Dream Video Game Movie Castings We'd Die For

7. Agent 47 - Mark Strong

For a game that often sees its story obscured behind some excellent sandbox gameplay, Hitman has had a surprising large amount of movies (even if that amount is only two).

But, the casting of Agent 47 has been rather lacklustre both times, with Timothy Olyphant picking up the twin silverballers in the first adaptation attempt in 2007 and Rupert Friend taking a punt in 2015 - these are both talented actors, yet they weren't quite the right choice to play the Hitman.

So, why would Mark Strong be the best choice for the role?

For one, his voice is brilliant and would be able to match the dulcet tones of David Bateson better than most - and when you have a character so devoid of personality as 47 (his name is literally a number for crying out loud), having a cool voice can really help to elevate said character above a rank of 'boring'.

Secondly, its Strong's appearance that would suit playing the Hitman, because, well, just look at him.
