This isn't a fight, it's a running simulator plain and simple. The boss can die in one hit and the only other boss in the series that dies like that is, the Bed of Chaos but we all try to forget that horrid fight.

Now, the boss will only die in one hit if the player goes to the correct spot and jumps on top of the Ancient Wyvern. It is very similar to the Asylum Demon fight from Dark Souls 1, except this drop onto the boss WILL kill it instantly. Honestly, the common enemies on the way to the area needed to kill the boss are the true fight.

The strategy is simple, run past the Ancient Wyvern, take the first left into the building area and follow the path until you reach a scaffolding area. Once you make it to the scaffolding, look for part of a destroyed bridge you can go to. From there, wait until the Ancient Wyvern isn't attacking and jump attack him. Make sure to run past the enemies on the way and really only kill them if it is necessary.
