9. Snipperclips: Let's Cut It Out Together!

As you'll see, the Switch is absolutely rammed with scores of unique, very much 'Nintendo-feeling' gaming gems. One such release is the third-party Snipperclips, which actually found a home on the console thanks to Nintendo stepping in to help finance the remainder of the project.

Gameplay-wise it's an intrinsically multiplayer experience, though you can play solo by hopping between the two pieces of paper that make up your protagonists. The aim of the game is to solve a variety of puzzles, Scribblenauts-style, though instead of writing words to summon in various implements and creatures, you're cutting each other into the requisite shapes.

Over time the puzzles get more obtuse, the shapes you're required to create that little bit more complex, and teamwork between all players needs to be incredibly specific. All in all, Snipperclips is the kind of game built to be played by handing one Joy-Con to a friend and seeing how far you can get - that, and it's cuter than a marshmallow Kirby floating on a cloud of yarn.
