7. Memphis Depay
Age: 20 Position: AML/ST Role: Inside forward / raumdeuter / advanced playmaker Club: PSV Nationality: Dutch Value: £6.75 million Price Tag: £12.5 million A player that made a sizeable impact at this summer's World Cup which nearly lead to a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur. You have to think they're wishing they pushed this one through now. Depay is primarily a winger but could play anywhere across the three behind a striker. The £12.5 million asking price is a steal, especially considering Depay will more often than not have an instant impact. Starting the game with very high CA for his age and room to grow are ingredients that lead to a big money move. Due to Depays natural goal scoring ability a role of inside forward where he cuts in from the left is best, but you could also try the new role, Raumdeuter. This is the Thomas Muller role. I.e He doesn't have one, just put him at the top end of the pitch and allow him to strut his stuff. The Dutch superstar will get you goals and assists galore. He has amazing technique which means he must be on all your set pieces, especially in and around the box. He is a player that must be allowed to express himself, his long range shooting can result in a goal from nothing while excellent flair, determination and speed means you've got yourself a key asset.
