5. There Are Less Gamers Per Household Than 2015

Although it feels like gaming as a medium is bigger than ever, there's actually a small drop in the average amount of gamers per household, in comparison to last year.

Back in 2015 (where you can read more facts here) there was an average of two gamers per domicile, whereas now, that's down to 1.7.

Even factoring in those who only play mobile games as 'gamers', that's almost a quarter drop-off in just a year. Fatigue from a lack of console exclusives, perhaps?
