10 Fatal Issues That Could Kill Destiny 2

5. Strikes Are Unrewarding

Strikes are a core component of Destiny 2's weekly ritual, but they're too stingy when the time comes for them to cough up the goods. With a competent Fireteam, seeing each to its end will take around 15 minutes and for your efforts, you'll be awarded a random selection - usually trash - of items and Vanguard tokens to throw at Zavala.

In contrast, Public Events take less than half the time and award similar loot. Whichever way you crunch the numbers, the discrepancy is obvious, essentially making Strikes dead on arrival. There are a few ways to go about remedying the problem - the obvious and simplest being to give the same loot but more of it - the best being to introduce Strike-specific loot that can't be obtained anywhere else.

If that sounds familiar, it's because the exact same idea was introduced in the original game with The Taken King. Yet another addition to the recurring theme of well-received content inexplicably being removed for Destiny's sequel.
