10 Forgotten Xbox 360 Games You Should Play In 2020

4. Syndicate

El Shaddai: Ascension Of The Metatron
Ubisoft

When it was first released in 2012, Syndicate garnered massive derision for not being anything like its original series. Given that that was an isometric, tactical shooter and this reboot was all FPS action, it didn't start off strong.

Yet with the power of time and hindsight, as well as something to occupy you until Cyberpunk [hopefully] comes out in November, you can't go far wrong with Syndicate 2012.

Consider it a Cyberpunk-lite, if you will.

There's no massive in-depth character customisation or branching narrative in here. Just balls to the wall, fast paced shooting and on-the-fly hacking in a futuristic, corporate dystopia.

If anything, it plays more akin to Mirror's Edge or Brink, albeit not as much parkour in favour of gunplay.

Sure, the story is pretty easy to follow. It's not going to Spec Ops or Death Stranding you, but sometimes... who really cares?

At times it's just nice to lose yourself in some cathartic running and gunning. Coupled with a story by Altered Carbon's Richard K. Morgan, it at least made Miles Kilo's adventure engaging as you take on the corporate world.
