10 Frustrating Mario Party Moments That Ruined Friendships

Let's talk about the Bowser spaces. Oh god, the Bowser spaces.

On each board there are a few of these spaces, and you sure don't want to be unlucky enough to land on one. If you're one of the unfortunate souls that do, Bowser shows up, and it pretty much always ends in tears. Usually he has the player spin a roulette wheel, and one of any number of events happens.

They're a little different in each game, but they're all pretty horrible. Sometimes you're all forced to play a Bowser minigame. Sometimes he just steals a bunch of coins, but at least that one just affects the person who landed on the space.

And then there's Bowser Revolution, which will have every player of the game screaming at each other in no time. If you land on this, everyone's coins are taken and then split up evenly. 

So let's say before this, you were right about to land on a star and you have 30 coins (a star costs 20). Your three buddies all have 10. Now, everyone ends up with 15 coins. In this case, your friends all ended up with more than they had, but when your turn comes up next, you don't have enough to get the star anymore.

At this point, whoever landed on Bowser Revolution is preparing for a punch in the face.
