10 Games That Would Make Xbox Game Pass Must-Have

AAA games are a necessity to make Game Pass essential to the hardcore gamer. However, just as important is the inclusion of incredible indie games. Game Pass has a few good indie games currently, but it's lacking a killer app in that department. Well, Shovel Knight is as good as they come.

Yacht Club Games launched Shovel Knight following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014. Incredibly, the developer is still working on the game. Yep, four years after launch, Yacht Club Games is working on Shovel Knight's third DLC campaign. Ever more incredible still, all of Shovel Knight's DLC has been free to those who bought the game at launch.

At this point, Shovel Knight is essentially three games in one, with a fourth on the way. It's an amazing deal for an amazing video game and would greatly bolster Game Pass.
