10 Gaming Franchises That Desperately NEED A New Game

4. Marvel Vs. Capcom

Marvel

One of the most iconic and important series in fighting game history, Marvel vs. Capcom appears to be dead. The series bridged the heroes and villains of Marvel Comics with characters from all sorts of Capcom games like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Ace Attorney, and more. It was once massively popular, so what happened?

The release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is what potentially killed the series off. Performing poorly due to an unappealing visual style and the omission of fan favorite characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four, Infinite soured even longtime fans on the series. However, enough time has passed since then for most fans to be over their disappointment, and they're ready for the series to return.

There's been no word on if or when the series will return, but it absolutely should. In just the couple of years since Infinite, many exciting characters from both Marvel and Capcom have risen to fame, something that will only continue to happen as the MCU branches out . Imagine how awesome it would be to see characters like Moon Knight, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Regina, Leon Kennedy, Mr. X, and others appear in a new Marvel vs. Capcom game.
