10 Gaming Henchmen More Powerful Than Their Bosses

7. Crash Man - Mega Man 2

crashman Crash Man was the hardest boss battle at the end of the hardest level in arguably the best Mega Man game ever, Mega Man 2. Let€™s first discuss the game design of Mega Man 2. It€™s set up as a series of boss battles as you need to defeat each of Dr. Wiley€™s creations before finally taking him on himself. You play through their individual levels, ending in a one on one battle where you gain their abilities should you prove victorious. Crash man€™s level was a brutally difficult maze of turrets and helicopter robots as you climbed, ever higher, until you finally reached Crash Man. Once inside, that little bastard hopped all over the damn place, dropping bombs like a demented Easter bunny. If you couldn€™t get into sync with his movements, you were finished in a matter of seconds. On the flip side, once you reached Dr. Wiley all you needed was Bubble Man€™s power and Wiley was finished in moments. A bit of a letdown considering the hell you went through to defeat all his creations, especially Crash Man.

I'm married and live in New York with my wife and pets. I'm a writer and definitely not a comedian (just ask my wife). I've successfully linked my twitter, goodreads, facebook and google+ pages although the successful aspect of all that is up for debate. I also started my own blog on wordpress and have just finished my first novel, The Violent Winds. Now it's time to try and trick some unsuspecting fool into buying it.
