Isn't capitalism grand?

Not if you're working for a major video game company, because they're by far one of the most naked forms of rampant greed in the modern world.

While everyone else struggles to get by, the people at the top who work MAYBE half as hard as the various devs and designers do for them, make millions of dollars every time they so much as change their socks.

It's utterly unsustainable, of course, but greed has a funny way of making people lose sight of the long game, in favor of what they can gain now.

As such, more and more money comes in for the bosses, which makes them and their investors demand more revenue, demands which inevitably can no longer be met, and everything falls apart. You'd think they'd learn after the last several times this exact thing played out.

This cycle of greed and ruin needs to stop, for the industry's own sake. Because it's never the guys at the top who suffer when this pattern repeats itself.
