8. Red Dead 3 Is Finally Announced
The Prediction: Rockstar Games will finally drop an ambiguous countdown timer on their website later in the year that ends up revealing the existence of the long-awaited western sequel Red Dead 3.
Why It Will Happen: It's been over six years since Red Dead Redemption came out and blew everyone away, so it would be majorly surprising if a sequel wasn't deep into production, especially considering how well RDR sold.
Plus, given that Rockstar haven't released a game since 2013's Grand Theft Auto V, we're long overdue something. Further to that point, Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive have said that while there won't be any new Rockstar games until at least next April, some exciting projects are on the horizon, and so could easily be revealed before year's end.
Why It Might Not: Rockstar marches to the beat of their own drum and can do what they want: they know people will still be interested even if Red Dead 3 isn't ready until 2025.
