1. Snake and Hal (Metal Gear Series)
This really is the goldmine of bromances in video games. I don't even know where to start. A lot of the characters in this list are merely the best of friends, which is great considering they all only really have one male friend each. Snake and Hal (Otacon) are not only extremely good friends, they eventually become partners (both in a business sense and a personal sense). They start a company together, talk about love, and even have a secret handshake that ends in an embrace. Everything about these two reeks some sort of secret romance that may go beyond just a bromance, but the great part is that it never truly does. The thing it does do though - and the same can go for every other pair on this list - it creates lots of fan fiction depicting the said secret romance between the two. Let's face it, when these two ended up stating they'll be together forever and basically adopt a child, it showed they really are meant to be together. Though the two are presumably heterosexual, it's their true bromance that tells them they don't need women to live a happy life, they just need each other. There we have it, some of the greatest gaming bromances. I know there are tons more, but one person can only play so many games and these are the ones that I've stumbled upon.
