Game: Final Fantasy VI Moogles are one of the Final Fantasy series' most recognisable mascots, appearing in some form or another in every game (except IV) since Final Fantasy III. The majority of games feature the creatures as background characters or in simple cameos, but they have played an important part in certain entries. Final Fantasy VI was the first game to feature a playable moogle, in the form of Mog. Initially appearing as one of the game's tutorial presenters, Mog is later able to be recruited as part of the main squad. He's a totally optional character, and can be unlocked by saving Mog over Lone Wolf in the World of Balance.
