10 Hardest Alternate Endings In Video Games

2. FEZ - 200% Completion

Whatever your opinion of Phil Fish and the Fez 2 debacle, you have to hand it to him: Fez is a masterpiece of game design.

The initial concept is already an inherently weird one to explain, and even simply finding enough normal cubes to finish the game is a challenge for some.

Even achieving 100% is a feat in itself, but that's not all there is to Polytron's insanely frustrating, yet always cute platformer.

There's the anti-cubes to find too.

These are required to get you up to necessary 200% completion rate, with 32 of them to find. This in itself is an absolute mission, as some of these are so absolutely convoluted and hard to find without the help of a guide.

Certain in-game times need to be reached, decoding the strange language and texts littering the land, even using QR code readers to decipher some. A lot of effort went into these, so it's only natural that a lot of effort goes back in to unlock them.

Oh Fez, you wonderfully difficult game.

And then there's the mystery of the black monolith... but that's a whole 'nother thing.
