10 Hardest Legend Of Zelda Dungeons
8. Ice Palace (Zelda: A Link To The Past)
Misery Maze was brutal and Turtle Rock was no pushover, but there's one dungeon from Zelda: A Link to the Past that still gives gamers the shivers.
The Ice Palace was a toxic combination of spiky traps, slippery floors, backtracking and a multi-storey map that was all kinds of wrong on so many levels.
Simply moving around was your biggest problem. If Link wasn't sliding face first into some razor-sharp spikes, he was being pulled into a bottomless pit by a conveyor belt.
Puzzles were taxing too, not least the conundrums involving block pushing and switches, plus the end-of-level boss, Kholdstare, was one of the toughest in the game.
