10 Hardest Legend Of Zelda Dungeons
5. Stone Tower Temple (Zelda: Majora's Mask)
Majora's Mask is one of the most challenging Zelda games thanks to that infernal time limit, but it's final level really takes the biscuit.
Stone Tower Temple is basically an end-of-year exam that tested players on everything they'd learned about magical masks throughout the game, and if you weren't paying attention at any point, you were destined to fail.
All three of Link's shape-shifting masks were required to beat portions of this taxing dungeon, and sometimes none of them were needed. The puzzles, including one where you had to tip the entire level upside down to progress, called for outside-the-box thinking, but even that wasn't enough at times.
Throw a couple of brutal mini-boss fights into the mix and Stone Tower Temple makes Ocarina of Time's Water Temple look like a gentle paddle in the shallow end.
