3. Love, Sacrifice, Or Wealth - Fable II

By the end of Lionhead's Fable II you'll probably be the wealthiest man in the world anyway, so we can disregard that one. This leaves us with two major choices: resurrect the many lives lost in the villain's pursuit of power or resurrect your family - and only your family - which includes your beloved dog.

One of Fable II's most successful features is the dog companion you meet early in the game. He's not only cute, but his fundamental use as a gameplay mechanic is what makes him so impressive.

While it may seem superficial to relegate the dog to a tool used to find treasure or aid in combat, its this persistent interaction that reinforces your connection to the faithful canine. His companionship is a core gameplay element.

Until he's tragically killed during the game's climax. So really your choice is: do you want to sacrifice thousands of lives to bring your dog back?

If you're playing a good character, then sacrifice seems the obvious choice. But is it even worth it to keep playing after the story's end if you have no one to share your journey with? Can you sacrifice your own happiness for the greater good?
