As hard as Dark Souls bosses can be, they at least have the courtesy of staying behind fog walls to let you know there's a fight coming up and that you might want to prepare yourself.
Except this isn't always the case. In fact, some Dark Should bosses, like the Stray Demon, wait for you in traps set up for those who assume they can just walk around Dark Souls' world freely.
The Stray Demon is a hidden boss lurking inside the starting location of the game, right beneath the arena when you fight his equally ugly cousin, the Asylum Demon.
If you ever decide to come back to the asylum to see if you've missed anything (or maybe to reminisce about how far you've come), you might want to avoid stepping into the arena, as you may accidentally collapse the floor beneath and then fall into another, underground arena, right into the Stray Demon's trap.
