Rocksteady, the incredibly talented British studio behind the Batman Arkham franchise, has been fairly quiet since 2015. Arkham Knight launched that year and seemingly drew to a close the studio's years-long association with the Dark Knight, with Arkham VR releasing just a year later.

A smaller team at Rocksteady made the PSVR title, meaning that a large part of Rocksteady has been working diligently on something since 2015. That's a hefty four-year development cycle and we're long past due a reveal. Perhaps that's because Arkham Knight was revealed really early and was almost immediately delayed a year, or perhaps because it's a next-gen game, but either way everyone just wants to know what it is.

It's definitely a DC superhero game, but whether that's a Justice League title, a game based on the Man of Steel or something else entirely is anyone's guess. Regardless, Rocksteady is amongst the elite in the gaming industry and any announcement from it is sure to rock the gaming world.
