When Dying Light was first announced, most of us were expecting 'yet another' survival shooter with zombies, grinding gameplay and tons of randomly-generated loot. To some extent, that description stands true, although Dying Light distinguishes itself with parkour-style gameplay, great retro-tinged soundtrack and a large world that feels like more than just a sandbox and is actually intriguing to explore. The game is even unafraid to taking a few light-hearted shots at rival games in the genre, as seen in this Destiny-inspired secret cave. The cave is found to the north-east of the slums, after jumping a fence and swimming through an underwater passage. When you arrive in the hazy, seemingly tropical cave, you'll be greeted by the message, "Your destiny is to build your legend (and get loot)", referring to Destiny's "Become legend" tagline. There are several chests to loot in this area, and you'll also get beset by a seemingly endless horde of zombies - a dig at Destiny's loot cave which gained notoriety for essentially being a cheat location where players could endlessly farm enemies for XP. In Dying Light however, rather than letting you farm them forever, a message eventually pops up saying "Enough! Patch 1.0.2 activated. Better do some quests". Sorry, no cheap-and-easy XP for you...
