10 Hidden Video Game Features EVERYONE Missed
2. Prevent Fall Damage - The Witcher 3
Witcher 3 - The Wild Hunt is seen as the zenith of the franchise, surpassing its predecessors in every way. Due to the momentous world-building, emphasis on exploration, fluid gameplay, and startling graphics, it was no surprise why this threequel was rated so highly.
But no matter how much you love Witcher 3, there's one thing that grinds everyone's gears - the fall damage.
Even though Geralt is a legendary alchemist, falling from a cliff will shatter his kneecaps just like anyone else. Because gravity will probably kill you more than any of the bosses, a lot of players wished the game had a mechanic to reduce fall damage.
Oh, wait. It does. By tapping the jump button twice just before making contact with the ground, Geralt will land safely without suffering any damage. Even though this sounds like a feature anyone could figure out by themselves, it was completely unknown by most of the gaming community.
In fact, so many people complained about the game's fall damage, the company's community co-ordinator, Marcin Momot, had to go on Twitter to tell everybody how to avoid it.
