Only the most eagle-eyed players of the original version of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis will have noticed that the exterior of a Raccoon City cinema features a mock-up poster for "Biohazard 4."

Biohazard is of course the Japanese title of the Resident Evil franchise, and though in-universe this was actually advertising a movie, it was clearly a nod to fans that a fourth game was in active development.

And while a version of Resident Evil 4 was indeed being made at the time, it actually ended up being re-worked into Devil May Cry.

The eventual Resident Evil 4 meanwhile became a total re-imagining of the series, and wasn't released until over five years after the release of the third game and this initial tease.
