10 Horrific 2013 Gaming Glitches That Will Haunt Your Dreams

4. The Merciless Death Winds - Batman Arkham Origins

Warner Bros' Arkham prequel game pretty much came with a ready made failure label in some gamers' eyes, chiefly because Arkham Asylum and City makers Rocksteady weren't on board. That decision - which some recognised as carrying the inherent silver lining that the studio were too busy working on a next gen Arkham game - was suggested as almost the same as Disney's risible Direct To DVD sequel strategy, because whoever took over the reigns was bound to fail by comparison. But that wouldn't have mattered so much if the game had been exceptional - or at least fully functional - which turned out not to be the case. While the game was entertaining, and got most of the essentials right (mostly because of a lack of innovation) it was plagued by bugs that made total immersion impossible, even when they were hilarious. This bug, however, was haunting: instead of letting slain villains rest in peace, Origins came with an issue that rag-dolled them around in a deathly wind that threw them around the game environment, to the amusement and horror of gamers.
