10 Horror Game Cross-Overs We Want To See

5. Resident Evil/Anno 2070

This one might not seem quite so odd but certainly has a good premise, take the Resident Evil universe and make it a city building RTS in which you can develop strains of the various different Resident Evil viruses available to each faction to unleash chemical warfare on opponents with the goal of wiping out their population. With the only way to control the outbreak in your city is to quarantine them or even destroy large parts of your own city strategy meets horror certainly sounds like a good deal. Now this is my personal favourite, the premise behind mixing these games sounds like one hell of game. So as explained your primary goal would be to wipe out opponents by infecting their population with the strain of the virus your team has. This leaves an issue though, what happens when you take out the enemy? Is it game over for them? Well I think the best way to tackle this would be to have the enemy take control of their horde. They can €˜upgrade€™ their zombies to the various different Lickers and other incarnations as the zombies gain kills. This would create then a second phase to the game as players would need to build decent defences in order to stop the invading zombie hordes. In matches where are more than two people this would end up creating an interesting scenario which sees the otherwise victorious faction all of a sudden facing the realistic possibility of being overwhelmed by the undead and struggling to defend their city. Games Similar: Once again I€™m under the impression that such a thing doesn€™t exist. There are many RTS games that have darker themes to them though so maybe there is a good start for anyone looking for a darker strategy experience.
