Any list of classic horror characters would be incomplete without arguably the most inventive and brilliantly charismatic of them all, the blade-fingered burns victim, Freddy Krueger. This one would be pretty challenging to put into video game form, considering that Freddy can only attack victims when they're asleep, and his arsenal of attacks are so wide and otherworldly that reducing it to just a few for a game would hardly do him justice. I'm sure most horror fans would still play this even if it was just Freddy stalking players around a boiler room, but think of the potential something like this has. Perhaps human players just have to survive a set period of time until they wake up, so they essentially have little means to fight back against Freddy, while perhaps Freddy can perform a number of scripted attacks which contort the environment and basically screw with the other players' minds?
