10 Huge 2016 Video Game Rumours You're Not Supposed To Know

4. The Elder Scrolls VI Gets An Official Name

Bethesda are hard at work prioritising Fallout 4 for now, but after November and the Christmas rush gets over with they'll be looking to tease what's coming next, at least in some form. There won't be any gameplay footage for a long time, that much has been made clear in many interviews - but it's not like there aren't already a slew of rumours out there when it comes to potential names, features and the game engine itself. If Fallout 4 can utilise Bethesda's newest revamp on the Creation Engine, they'll be eager to apply it to the one ongoing franchise closest to their hearts, and if we can't see it in motion, we can at least get wind of what it's going to be called. Likelihood? 7/10 TES and Fallout go together like bricks and mortar, both providing solid pillars of Bethesda's base foundational appeal, so that would lead me to believe you can't have one without the other. Now that the studio is back out the dark and firmly in the public eye, it's only a matter of time before gears get switched from the steampunkian sci-fi Fallout, to the fantastically gorgeous world of Tamriel.
