10 Important Video Game Cutscenes You Totally Missed

Konami's Silent Hill 2 will always be amongst the contenders for the most disturbing and chilling horror video games ever released, with the trials endured by James Sunderland in Silent Hill warping his mental sanity and entire sense of morality.

This theme is carried through in the huge amount of role-playing and choices available to players, and how that can alter how the plot is presented to them.

The game features many different paths players can take based on the decisions they make, leading to a whopping six different possible endings to view that all hammer home the effects the game's events have had on James and the player.

One of the more obscure, and certainly bizarre, endings comes when players complete the three 'normal' endings (In Water, Maria or Leave) or the Rebirth ending, which will reward them with the Dog Key.

If they take this key to the Lakeview Hotel and its observation room they will trigger what is undoubtedly the strangest cutscene in the entire game.

For such a psychologically disturbing game, it's important to see that Konami had the time to throw in something a little bit more lighthearted.
