http://youtu.be/8ZYkj0glnqs Due Out: TBA 2013 Its not big secret that Naughty Dog are one of the finest Action Adventure video game developers out there (which has been proven three times over with their phenomenal Uncharted series) and so its with a quaver of genuine excitement and anticipation that I write about The Last of Us. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, overrun by a modern plague and teeming with desperate and brutal survivors hell bent on killing you before you can kill them. Youll play the role of Joel in his mission to escort a young teenage girl, Ellie, across a fallen America. Ive always been fascinated with the post-apocalypse setting (ever since I saw Twelve Monkeys) and Im excited like you wouldnt believe to get a glimpse at the end of the world as envisioned by the good folks at Naughty Dog. Expect brutality in spades, moral ambiguity as standard and if the Uncharted series is anything to go by, some truly ingenious and awe-inspiring action set pieces. Excited? You should be.
