4. The Nuke Ending - Metal Gear Solid V

Metal Gear Solid V has an interesting case of multiplayer features integrated into single-player content. In its original form, it could've been considered the most ambitious of this type of blend of game modes, but due to a bug, it never managed to work as intended.

The content in question is the infamous nuke ending. It is a secret cutscene that activates only when all the MGS V players disarm their nuclear weapons.

Or at least that was the intent. In reality, the first time the ending triggered happened due to a bug. It turned out the players actually churned out too many nukes, causing the script to glitch out and play the cutscene for every player to see.

This said, whether intentional or not, the secret ending was still the result of the collective effort of the MGS V community. One that required all of them to work together just so they could see something happen in their single-player campaign.

It would've been more gratifying if the ending was achieved legitimately, but hey! At least everyone got to see it.
