10 Infamous Glitches In Video Game History

9. Morrowind: The Entire Game

Morrowind1 The Elder Scrolls is a fantastic game series really coming into its own with Oblivion and Skyrim. However, the worlds Bethesda creates for these games are huge. So huge in fact that when The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind came out it was riddled with glitches. For example you could kill most things instantly by equipping a lockpick mid-attack. Also, falling through the Earth was nothing; just equip your weapon right before you hit the ground. Swim far enough out into certain parts of the ocean and you would land in uncharted area "X" where there existed nothing except vast amounts of useless land. You could literally pay any guild fine by simply dropping your money, talking to whoever you needed to, then picking your gold back up. The fine would be paid you would not be a penny poorer. Also try going halfway in the water and equipping any water walking spell. You will die instantly. Not to mention the untold millions of item glitches. Floating items, duplicating items, and disappearing-to-never-be-seen-again items were an every day part of game play. Still a great game just came with one too many quirks.
