10 Infuriating Multiplayer Video Game Levels That Totally Broke You
2. Shipyard - Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Though half of this list could have been taken up with games from the Call of Duty franchise (with the likes of Rust and Nuketown only just missing the cut), Shipyard was the first - and still best - map that infuriated players. The entire level is about as big as a single room in any other map, essentially just one big square with a couple shipping containers thrown in for cover.
There's really no skill involved in doing well when this map pops up in the rotation. Simply get the fastest firing gun you have or swap to a shotgun, spam grenades in every direction and hope you manage to tag someone before they get you. The sheer amount going on is overwhelming, and if anyone manages to call in a helicopter then god help you.
Thankfully, the tightness of the area means the matches are at least gracefully short, with the punishment at least being over before you're really compelled to rage quit. Still, that doesn't make it any easier on your kill-death ratio.
