10 Infuriating Video Game Bosses NOBODY Beat First Time - Commenters' Edition
8. Isaac Frost - Fight Night Champion (2011)
There seems to be a recurring theme in sports games of the final 'boss' being ridiculously hard to beat - and with Punch-Out's Mike Tyson making the first list, it was inevitable that another similar foe would show up at some point in this one.
The darker, gorier instalment of EA's boxing series, Fight Night Champion plays out much like a grittier Rocky movie, with the player, heavyweight boxer-in-training Andre Bishop, framed by a rival promoter for crimes he did not commit. When he gets out, Bishop rises up the ranks, eventually bagging himself a championship match against world heavyweight champion, Isaac Frost.
Frost is, for all intents and purposes, this game's version of Ivan Drago from Rocky IV, and puts up just as much of a fight. Extremely fast and aggressive, he's definitely not an opponent you can pin in the first couple of rounds - and more fool you if you try. The strategy for beating him is basically to "survive", dodging and moving around the area to avoid his devastating hits.
In the final rounds, feel free to give him all you've got, and the brute will eventually go down for the count.
