2. Gears Of War 3 Seriously 3.0
The "Seriously 3.0" achievement for Gears of War 3 has got to be one of the most intimidating of its kind due to the simple fact that it requires a significant investment of your time to earn it. For a hearty 100 gamer points you have to both reach level 100 and earn every Onyx medal in the multiplayer.
Technically, both of these goals arent that difficult, but as is the case with many multiplayer based achievements, many variables stand in the way - mainly in the form of other players. Unless you are a dedicated Gears player, chances are you play at an average skill level, which is still enough to get consistently trounced. This achievement is already time consuming as it is, and if you spend most of your time getting your butt handed to you it will only take longer to level up and earn those medals.
Those who aspired to earn this achievement had to be prepared to spend literally hundreds of hours playing Gears of War 3. Even if you loved the game that is frighteningly long amount of time to be spending on one game. Is it any surprise that most decided not to trouble themselves with the effort?
