4. The Electrocutioner - Batman: Arkham Origins

Arkham Origins is the ignored stepchild of WB's brilliant Batman series, but just because it was a stopgap release from another developer doesn't mean it wasn't still full to the brim with the same imaginative ideas that made the core trilogy so good.

In fact, the prequel actually managed to improve on the few areas where the previous games stumbled a little bit. Boss fights in particular were given a lot more care and attention, and instead of relying on the same enemy types and tactics to take out the title's toughest enemies, the developers strove to get creative with how players could defeat members of Batman's rogues gallery.

One of the most memorable was The Electrocutioner, a two-bit baddie with pretty decent trash talk before the fight starts. In the minutes proceeding the actual bout, the villain monologues at length about how easily he's going to pummel The Dark Knight, which makes it all the more satisfying when you shut him up with a single punch.

Although you're preparing for a tough fight, all it takes is one hit to take the villain down, and although many fans found that to be underwhelming, there's no denying just how satisfying it is to wipe the Electrocutioner's smug look off his face with a single roundhouse kick.
