Since we’re on the topic of invisibility that works against you, we’d be remiss not to mention the Invisibility Sphere from Doom.

Also called a blur sphere or blur artefact in the game manuals, this pickup helps you by making enemy aim less accurate. That sounds somewhat helpful except for when you’re dealing with enemies who shoot projectiles, as you now have a much harder time predicting the trajectory of said projectiles. As a result, even though the goal was to make enemies less likely to hit you, they’ll probably have a higher likelihood of making contact as they’ll be flying all over the place.

This likely isn’t an intentional troll but when you’ve picked it up hoping it will actually help you out and finding out it’s done the opposite, you’ll feel pretty duped.
